This is an opportunity for veterans with disabilities and their families to learn more about: \n\nUtilizing VA benefits\nWheelchair accessible vehicles and adaptive driving\nBarrier free design\nPeer mentoring resources\nDisability sports and recreation programs\n\nThis event is free to the public. Light refreshments will be provided. The Creative Mobility Group is proud to support this event as a vendor sponsor. \nAbout MPVA\nMPVA is a non-profit organization that provides support and services to veterans with spinal cord injuries\, multiple sclerosis\, ALS\, and other neurological disabilities. The chapter was founded in 1961 and has since grown to become a leading organization in Michigan for veterans with disabilities. MPVA offers a wide range of programs and services to veterans\, including adaptive sports\, vocational training\, peer support\, and advocacy for disability rights. \nIn addition to its programs and services\, MPVA is actively involved in advocating for the rights of veterans with disabilities. The chapter works closely with local\, state\, and national legislators to ensure that veterans with disabilities have access to the resources and support they need to live full and independent lives.
