Can my Chrysler minivan be outfitted with a BraunAbility side-entry conversion?
Yes, BraunAbility is able to convert the Chrysler Pacifica for model years 2019-2023 and the Chrysler Voyager for model years 2020-2023. However, there are specific requirements that may exclude a model from being compatible for conversion or may require additional charges. Additionally, the vehicle must meet all of BraunAbility’s condition specifications, including:
- Mileage must be under 50,000
- Vehicle must be in sound condition
- Vehicle must never have been involved in an accident
All vehicles are inspected and subject to acceptance/rejection upon arrival at the BraunAbility plant.

What is the towing capacity of a BraunAbility Chrysler Pacifica side-entry wheelchair van?
If the vehicle was equipped with a factory-installed trailer tow bumper package prior to being converted, a Chrysler Pacifica with a BraunAbility side-entry wheelchair van conversion will retain the factory towing capacity of at 3,600 lbs. However, all OEM vehicle weight ratings and safe loading practices must be followed. Please refer to the Owner’s Manual as it clearly defines requirements for towing.
Aftermarket trailer tow packages are prohibited on all BraunAbility Chrysler Pacifica wheelchair vans.
What is the ramp weight capacity on a BraunAbility Chrysler Pacifica side-entry wheelchair van?
All ramps on BraunAbility Chrysler Pacifica side-entry wheelchiar vans have a weight capacity of 1,000 lbs.

Does a BraunAbility conversion void the Chrysler warranty?
No, a BraunAbility conversion does not void the Chrysler warranty. Chrysler Pacificas converted for wheelchair access are warranted under the same terms and conditions as Chrysler's New Vehicle Limited Warranty; conversion-related modifications are warranted by BraunAbility and serviced by The Creative Mobility Group.
New Pacificas converted for wheelchair access also qualify for a reimbursement of up to $1,000 through the Stellantis DriveAbility Mobility Assistance Program.
