Join us at the 2024 ADA Picnic with Disability Network Mid-Michigan!

Disability Network Mid-Michigan is hosting a free community picnic to celebrate the 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on Wednesday, July 17, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Haithco Park in Saginaw. Enjoy live music by Stone Street Revival, food, fun, games, and accessible recreation. Attendees can explore partner tables for valuable resources and information, and view displays about the ADA’s history. The first 400 visitors will receive food vouchers.


About Disability Network Mid-Michigan

Disability Network Mid-Michigan (DNMM) is dedicated to changing societal attitudes about people with disabilities and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can contribute based on their abilities. Serving 12 counties throughout mid-Michigan, including Alcona, Arenac, Bay, Clare, Gladwin, Gratiot, Iosco, Isabella, Midland, Ogemaw, Roscommon, and Saginaw, DNMM offers various support services and resources for people with disabilities, their families, and the community. These services, aimed at improving the quality of life, inspire, and motivate those they assist. DNMM emphasizes removing community barriers rather than focusing on disabilities, empowering individuals to live independently and pursue their goals.
