Disability Awareness Day 2020

Disability Advocates of Kent County (DAKC) presents Disability Awareness Day. The virtual event is centered around educating, empowering, and looking back while moving forward as we celebrate 30 years of the ADA for people with disabilities.

Join DAKC from 10:30 AM – 1:30pm with breakout sessions starting at 10:50 AM. See below for a detailed schedule of the day. Each breakout session will have a specific focus for people with disabilities. Two rounds of the same breakout sessions will take place and you can choose up to TWO sessions when registering. Session topics: – Affordable, Accessible Housing (Breakout #1) – Employment (Breakout #2) – County-wide Transportation (Breakout #3) – Healthcare (Breakout #4)
