For your convenience, we also offer delivery4 service, including wheelchair rental delivery to hotels, event venues, and the area’s major airports. Our wheelchair rental program is designed to be both flexible and economical. Whether you’re looking to rent a wheelchair for a day, a weekend, or a month, we have short and long-term rental options to meet your needs. How it Works
Renting a Wheelchair
At The Creative Mobility Group, we make renting a wheelchair simple. To get started, you can request your wheelchair rental online or call 888-998-4264 to speak with a Rental Coordinator. Once you are connected with a Rental Coordinator, we will confirm your reservation and verify that the wheelchair will meet your needs and expectations. If you’re not able to get to our location, your Rental Coordinator can also arrange to have your wheelchair rental delivered to you.
Whether you choose to pick up your wheelchair rental from one of our four Michigan locations or have it delivered to you, we will provide you with thorough training on how to properly operate and transport the wheelchair.

If you're ready to book a wheelchair rental, you can request a reservation online or call 888-998-4264 to speak with a Rental Coordinator. Be sure to have the following information available to help expedite the reservation process:
- Driver's license
- Flight information if applicable
- Debit or credit card to hold the reservation (no deposit required)
- Special requests or accommodations
After your wheelchair rental reservation has been confirmed, your driver's license can be emailed to rentals@creativemobilitygroup.com.
PAYMENT & DEPOSIT POLICY
When booking your wheelchair rental, you will need to provide a credit card or debit card in order to secure the reservation. However, no deposit will be charged.
24 hours prior to the start of your reservation, we will process a payment for your amount due using the payment method provided at the time of booking. If a debit card has been provided for payment, an additional $200 security deposit will be authorized during the rental period. If a credit card has been provided for payment, an additional $100 security deposit will be authorized during the rental period.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A full refund is provided if a 24-hour advance notice is provided. For any notice under 24 hours, a $25 cancellation fee will apply.

- Listed rates for wheelchair rentals are based on pickup and return at same CMG location within 24 hours from time of the scheduled reservation. Rates do not include 6% state use tax and delivery/pickup fees when applicable.Rate will be provided before a reservation is confirmed. Additional charges may apply for optional accessories. Equipment must be returned in the same condition it was issued or fees will apply. Rates are subject to change without notice.
- To qualify for “Weekend Speical” wheelchair rental, reservation must begin after 2pm on Friday and end before 9am on Monday.
- Estimated operating range assuming user weight of 200 lbs. Range will very based on user weight and terrain.
- Delivery and pickup service for a wheelchair rental requires advance notice of 3 business days and is subject to availability and additional charges.

Do I need to make a reservation in advance?
While an advance reservation is not required for a wheelchair rental, it is strongly encouraged to ensure availability. We recommended that you book your reservation at least one week in advance. The summer months and holidays are the busiest times of the year for wheelchair rentals, so it is best to book as early as possible.
Please note, reservations with delivery & pickup service require an advance notice of 3 business days and are subject to availability and additional charges.
What is the deposit amount?
When booking your wheelchair rental, you will need to provide a credit card or debit card in order to secure the reservation. However, no deposit will be charged.
24 hours prior to the start of your reservation, we will process a payment for your amount due using the payment method provided at the time of booking. If a debit card has been provided for payment, an additional $200 will be authorized and held as a security deposit. If a credit card has been provided for payment, an additional $100 will be authorized and held as a security deposit.
Is there a cancellation fee?

Do you require a security deposit?
For wheelchair rental reservations booked with a debit card, an additional $200 will be held as a security deposit during the reservation period. For wheelchair rental reservations booked with a credit card, an additional $100 will be held as a security deposit during the reservation period.
Will someone show me how to use the wheelchair?
Yes, a knowledgeable team member will go over how to use the wheelchair safely at the time of delivery or pick up. If applicable, we will also demonstrate how to disassemble and reassemble the wheelchair for transport in your vehicle.
Can I rent a wheelchair to help make a purchase decision?
Absolutely! The Weekend Special is a great way to evaluate if a wheelchair purchase is right for you or your family. In many instances, your full rental charge will then be credited towards your purchase. Ask your Rental Coordinator or speak with a Mobility Consultant for details.

No, we are not able to bill your health insurance for a wheelchair rental. However, you may be able to use funds from your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
