At The Creative Mobility Group – Detroit East in Madison Heights, MI, we make renting a mobility scooter simple. To get started, you can request your mobility scooter rental online or call 248-577-5430 to speak with a Rental Coordinator. Once you are connected with a Rental Coordinator, we will confirm your reservation and verify that the mobility scooter will meet your needs and expectations. If you’re not able to get to our location, your Rental Coordinator can also arrange to have your mobility scooter rental delivered to you.
Wether you choose to pick up your mobility scooter rental or have it delivered to you, we will provide you with thorough training on how to properly operate the scooter, how to charge the scooter, how to disassemble the scooter to transport it, and how to reassemble the scooter.

If you're ready to book a mobility scooter rental, you can request a reservation online or call 888-998-4264 to speak with a Rental Coordinator. Be sure to have the following information available to help expedite the reservation process:
- Driver's license
- Flight information if applicable
- Debit or credit card to hold the reservation (no deposit required)
- Special requests or accommodations
After your mobility scooter rental reservation has been confirmed, your driver's license can be emailed to rentals@creativemobilitygroup.com.
PAYMENT & DEPOSIT POLICY
When booking your mobility scooter rental, you will need to provide a credit card or debit card in order to secure the reservation. However, no deposit will be charged.
24 hours prior to the start of your reservation, we will process a payment for your amount due using the payment method provided at the time of booking. If a debit card has been provided for payment, an additional $200 will be authorized and held as a security deposit.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A full refund is provided if a 24-hour advance notice is provided. For any notice under 24 hours, a $25 cancellation fee will apply.

- Listed rates for mobility scooter rentals are based on pickup and return at same CMG location within 24 hours from time of the scheduled reservation. Rates do not include 6% state use tax and delivery/pickup fees when applicable. Rates based on rental of travel or mid-size mobility scooter or similar. Rate will be provided before a reservation is confirmed. Additional charges may apply for optional accessories. Equipment must be returned in the same condition it was issued or fees will apply. Rates are subject to change without notice.
- To qualify for “Weekend Speical” mobility scooter rental, reservation must begin after 2pm on Friday and end before 9am on Monday.
- Estimated operating range assuming user weight of 200 lbs. Range will very based on user weight and terrain.
- Delivery and pickup service for a mobility scooter rental requires advance notice of 3 business days and is subject to availability and additional charges.
