Can my Honda Odyssey be outfitted with a BraunAbility side-entry conversion?
Yes, the BraunAbility Power In-Floor conversion is currently avialable for the 2018 through 2023 Honda Odyssey. However, there are specific requirements that may exclude a model from being compatible for conversion or may require additional charges. Additionally, the vehicle must meet all the condition specifications, including:
- Mileage must be under 50,000
- Vehicle must be in sound condition
- Vehicle must never have been involved in an accident
All vehicles are inspected and subject to acceptance/rejection upon arrival at BraunAbililty’s plant.

What is the towing capacity of a BraunAbility Honda Odyssey wheelchair van?
A Honda Odyssey with a BraunAbility side-entry wheelchair van conversion retains the factory towing capacity of at 3,500 lbs. However, all OEM vehicle weight ratings and safe loading practices must be followed. Please refer to the Owner’s Manual as it clearly defines requirements for towing.
A towing package is required for trailering that must be provided and installed by a Honda dealer if not already equipped.
Aftermarket trailer tow packages are prohibited on all BraunAbility Honda Odyssey wheelchair vans.
What is BraunAbility's warranty coverage for their Honda Odyssey side-entry conversion?
The BraunAbility warranty covers modifications made to the vehicle by BraunAbility including components installed by BraunAbility as well as Honda components and systems affected by BraunAbility modifications and components for 3 years or the first 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. In addition, the warranty includes corrosion protection coverage for 5 years and unlimited miles.

Does a BraunAbility conversion void the Honda warranty?
No, a BraunAbility conversion does not void the Honda warranty. A Honda Odyssey converted for wheelchair access continues to be warranted under the same terms and conditions as Honda's New Vehicle Limited Warranty; conversion-related modifications are warranted by BraunAbility and serviced by The Creative Mobility Group.
A new Honda Odyssey converted for wheelchair access also qualifies for The Honda Customer Mobility Assistance Program.

Is the BraunAbility Honda Odyssey wheelchair van available in AWD?
No, Honda does not currently offer an all-wheel drive (AWD) model of the Odyssey. However, if you are interested in an all-wheel-drive wheelchair accessible minivan, the VMI Toyota Sienna Hybrid Northstar is AWD capable.
