Rolling with Confidence – 2023

Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan’s annual event, “Rolling with Confidence,” is back for 2023! This free event is designed to help manual and power wheelchair users live their best lives. The focus of this year’s event is physical and metnal fitness.

Open to all wheelchair users, the event will provide attendees with the opportunity for:

  • Peer mentoring/motivation
  • Adapted Tai Chi
  • At-home adapted work out instruction
  • Massages
  • Wheelchair cleaning/repairs.

Additionally, representatives from The Creative Mobility Group will available to answer questions about wheelchair accessible vehicles and driving with adaptive eqiupment.

Register by Wednesday, August 23, 2023 to be guaranteed to receive a free t-shirt. To be eligible for raffle prizes, arrive no later than 12 pm. RIM’s Rolling with Confidence is free and open to all wheelchair users; however, there is a $10 charge for a caregiver lunch. About United Spinal Association – Southern Michigan Chapter

The mission of United Spinal Association Southern Michigan Chapter is to provide advocacy and empowerment to those affected by spinal cord injury and disease to access resources and knowledge available in the community to improve quality of life. They work to achieve this mission through a range of services and programs. Through a generous donation from the Rally Sport Region Porsche Club, the United Spinal Association – Southern Michigan Chapter is also able to assist its members with obtaining, installing, and funding vehicle modifications or driver’s training.
