Walk ‘n Roll for ALS: Midland – 2023

The Creative Mobility Group is proud to be a Hall of Fame Sponsor of the 2023 Walk ‘n Roll for ALS: Midland!

Walk ‘n Roll for ALS is an annual fundraiser walk series organized by ALS of Michigan. They will host a total four walk events this fall and invite you to enjoy the autumn foliage while you walk ‘n roll with your family and friends to provide help and hope to people with ALS (pALS) in Michigan. As a primary funding source for this nonprofit serving people with ALS, ALS of Michigan has set a goal to raise $225,000.

About ALS of Michigan
ALS of Michigan is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The organization serves the state of Michigan and operates independently of the national ALS Association. The mission of ALS of Michigan is to provide care services and support to people with ALS, their families, and caregivers. Services include:

Equipment Loan Program: ALS of Michigan provides medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, communication devices, and home modifications, to people with ALS who cannot afford them.

Support Services: ALS of Michigan offers support groups for people with ALS, their families, and caregivers. These groups provide emotional support, information, and resources to help individuals cope with the challenges of ALS.

Educational Programs: ALS of Michigan provides educational programs to help people with ALS and their families learn about the disease, its symptoms, treatment options, and coping strategies.

Advocacy: ALS of Michigan advocates for policies that benefit people with ALS, including increased funding for research and improved access to medical care and services.
