Wheelchair Accessible Honda Odyssey Converisons

We are currently able to convert the Honda Odyssey for model years 2018-2023. However, each conversion manufacturer has specific requirements that may exclude a model from being compatible for conversion or may require additional charges. Additionally, the vehicle must meet all the conversion manufacturer’s condition specifications, including:

  • Mileage must be under 50,000
  • Vehicle must be in sound condition
  • Vehicle must never have been involved in an accident

All vehicles are inspected and subject to acceptance/rejection upon arrival at the conversion manufacturer’s plant.

If your vehicle is equipped with an OEM factory-installed trailer tow bumper package, refer to the OEM manual for towing guidelines and precautions. Be sure to comply with critical weight limits before towing.

Aftermarket trailer tow packages are prohibited on BraunAbility and VMI Honda Odyssey conversions.

The Honda Odyssey is not available in AWD. However, if you are interested in an all-wheel-drive wheelchair accessible minivan, the VMI Toyota Sienna Hybrid Northstar is AWD capable.

No, a BraunAbility or VMI conversion does not void the Honda warranty. The original components of the vehicle will continue to be covered and serviced by the Honda warranty. All modified components of the vehicle will be covered by the conversion manufacturer's warranty and serviced by The Creative Mobility Group.

No, the Honda Odyssey is not available with a fold-out ramp. However, if you would like a side-entry wheelchair van with a fold-out ramp, there options available on the Chrysler Pacifica and Toyota Sienna Hybrid.
